Description : Flavoured and healthy. Robust, big leaves, a bit bitter. The bitterness goes away with time.

Emplacement : Sunny, moist, likes clayey soils rich in humus and nutrients

Transplanting : Separate if the plants are too close to one another

Spacing : 30×40 cm

Blooming/harvesting time : September-end of November

Tip : Sow in rows, cover the seeds and keep the soil moist. The plants can tolerate low temperatures (-5°C max). Before the frost settles in, unroot the plants and put them in a fresh place. They can be kept there up to 2 months.
