Description : Spinach for all-year-long-cultivation. Resistant to downy mildew, good yield. Cultivation in Greenhouse possible.

Sowing : In open grounds : April-August, open soil : starting March

Germination, soil temperature : 10-15 days, 12-25°C

Site : Sunny, likes permeable, moist soils rich in humus

Transplanting : Thin out if the plants are too close to one antoher

Spacing : Row 20-25 cm, Plant 2-3 cm

Blooming/harvesting time : May-November

Tip : There are two different types of spinach, depending on the sowing (and harvesting period):

• tender spring and summer spinach (harvest from March-May); you can eat it as “baby-leaf-salad”.
• sturdy and with long stem, autumn and winter spinach (harvest from September-November); you have to cook it!
