Transplanting : Thin out if the plants are too close to one antoher

Blooming/harvesting time : May-November
Tip : There are two different types of spinach, depending on the sowing (and harvesting period):
- tender spring and summer spinach (harvest from March-May); you can eat it as “baby-leaf-salad”.
- sturdy and with long stem, autumn and winter spinach (harvest from September-November); you have to cook it!
